Daniel 9: 24-27
24. Seventy weeks (70×7=490) are determined upon thy people (Jews) and upon thy holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince (Jesus) shall be seven weeks, (7×7=49) and threescore and two weeks: (62×7=434) the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. (483 Years)
26. And after threescore and two weeks (434) shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: (Crucified) and the people (Romans) of the prince (Titus) that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; (66-70 AD – 3 1/2 Years) and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27. And he (Jesus) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: (1×7=7) and in the midst of the week (3.5) he (Jesus) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (temple animal sacrifices) and for the overspreading of abominations he (Messiah) shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
49 + 434 + 7 = 490 Years
(Seventy Weeks = 70 x 7 = 490) – The Seventy Weeks Prophecy was fulfilled at the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. There is no remaining 7-year future tribulation period. We have been living in tribulation since 70 AD.
